Reflection #7
Yesterday while I was asking my nephew about school (he is in first grade) he told me that in math he does some math assignments and games on a school website. He told me the website and every specific detail about how to get to it without having to show me! He seemed really excited about it and told me he liked going on there the only downfall according to him was "it only has addition, no subtraction." He likes electronics so I am glad there is something educational that he likes to do on the computer too!

ReplyDeleteI had a similar thing happen to me with my little cousin. It did not have to do so much with school as mush as it did with technology, I was having trouble with my phone because I did not know how to make it do everything that it could. She told me to let her see it and the next thing I knew she had my phone doing things that I didn't even know existed. I thought this was crazy because she has never had a cell phone but yet she knows everything about them and how to get them to do everything they are capable of. It will be interesting to see where education will go.
